I started my career in family law litigation, watching good people burn through their savings and their sanity on high-conflict divorces and custody battles. They weren't bad people. They just didn't get the right legal support early enough, and by the time they found their way to court, the damage was done. Emotionally, financially, all of it.
I knew there had to be a better way.
That's why I built this firm around prevention, not just reaction. I help people plan ahead with prenuptial agreements and estate planning, navigate separation and collaborative divorce without setting their life on fire, and build families through assisted reproductive technology (ART) like surrogacy, sperm donor agreements, and egg donor contracts. In fact, I might be the only ART-focused attorney on the North Carolina coast, and I'm proud to support families creating their next chapter through surrogacy and donor arrangements.
